There will be three shows every day, but Peter's not worried about getting tired, 'Oh no - I never get tired. I love it when all the children sing along with our songs. I hope lots of Dubai's children come and see the show'

Peter and his friends were seen wandering about the Mall of The Emirates yesterday afternoon. 'Everybody was very happy to see us' Said Miss Tiggywinkle, 'I loved meeting all the children and looking at all the shops!'

Tickets are still available from the box office here at DUCTAC. Please call 04 341 4777 for more information.

Mezaina-Rooney collaborative art exhibition opens

The Mezaina-Rooney opening on Tuesday was great – it was really interesting to see how Khalid and Declan’s different styles worked together. It was also good to finally see why various strange objects had been taken into the Gallery since Declan and Khalid arrived! The show is on until 29th November – come and check it out and let us know what you think….

Supershock plays at DUCTAC

Italian band Supershock played for the first time in Dubai at DUCTAC on Tuesday night. The band were here as part of Italian Festival Week in the UAE to play their brand new score to the 1927 silent movie Metropolis – directed by the legendary Fritz Lang.

The audience at the Centrepoint Theatre were able to watch the classic film – which shows Lang’s grim vision of a capitalist future where workers are expendable machines – on a giant screen suspended above the stage, while the band played their amazing new score live.

It was the first time that Metropolis had been screened in the region. The film was the most expensive of it’s time and features special effects that audience members remarked had dated surprisingly little.

The band, which is based in Turin, have performed over 200 shows throughout Italy and France and received a standing ovation after their 2 hour performance at DUCTAC.
